NATIONAL OSH WORKSHOP HIGHLIGHTS
Workplace safety is essential regardless of the size of an organisation. All organisations, big or small, need to recognise the need for training and re-fresher training course that will help employees incorporate safety into their workplaces. Well implemented safety measures keep employees safe and also protect lives and properties.
Following the provision of the government policies and regulations as regards Occupational Safety and Health and in line with the provision of ILO Convention 187, has mandated the organisations to put safety measures in place towards an effective OSH management system that will help prevent and mitigate the impact of incidents in the workplace.
The OSHA Association Annual National OSH Training Workshop is to enable your employees to build capacities in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and to foster collaboration between the major stakeholders from various sectors towards driving and Practicing Injury Prevention at workplace.
This training workshop will help employees to understand the new approved practices, regulations, policies and safety expectations within their work environment in line with government policies and regulations. Safety and health training is crucial for workers to gain a solid knowledge of hazards and risks associated with their jobs. Providing workers with the latest safety knowledge and skills that can help protect them from work-related injuries, diseases, and deaths.
We hereby request that you nominate your employees from relevant units of your organisation to attend the workshop which will equip them with adequate information and knowledge to carry out their daily tasks safely. The training workshop has been scheduled to hold as follows:
